Latin Alternative Radio was born four years ago in Rotterdam, Netherlands, as an independent program dedicated to Latin American alternative music and the stories, cultures and realities that run through it.
Since then, the project has been sustained with great persistence and supported, at different times, by members of the Latin American community who have contributed ideas, research, production, music, and companionship. To all of them, thank you.
Our home base was Radio WORM, where the program was born and with whom we continue to share a journey as a sister project. We came from there and we're still there.
Today we take a new step: Latin Alternative Radio becomes an independent station from the Netherlands, with a production that until now has been mainly Colombian and with the participation of people from the Latin American community in Rotterdam.
Now we want to open the doors even wider: musicians, bands, podcasters, producers, collectives and festivals from all over Latin America have a space here to share their voices, their sounds and their stories.
